Ransomed Soul Records

"And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away" Isaiah 53:10. Our music ministry is all about using the gifts God has given us to give glory to our Heavenly Father and set captives free on a beat with the good news of the gospel that we preach!

Not your normal Christian here. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of 13 years old was forced to become a man. Grew up with two older sisters and a single mother barely making it, I joined a gang and started hustling. By the age of 15 I was in trouble with the law and was sent to live with family who lived in Wichita, KS. But that didn't change anything, you can take the boy out the hood but you can't take the hood out the boy. After turning 16, I became incarcerated and served 5 years in the Kansas Department of Corrections. Released at the age of 22. I tried making up for that lost time but found out it wasn't possible. Never gave much thought to music but that all changed on August 17, 2011. I was re-incarcerated facing a 39 year sentence when God spoke to me. "Give your life to me" he said. So I did, by the grace of God I was acquitted of all charges. That night I had a vision of standing on a stage in front of thousands of people preaching the word of God. I ran into a fellow Christian who was into Christian Rap and tried to rhyme myself. After writing a few bars in tune with a Lecrae beat, I realized I had a gift. On June 3rd, 2012 I was asked to perform at Wichita's Annual Riverfest Festival for the Christian/Gospel concert with Hope 4 Da Hood. As I stood up on stage and faced the crowd, I realized I was living out that vision from God. All glory to Him. I am GOD'S WILL-I-AM!

the new kids on the block

Just a group of young "kids" from different walks of life that Jesus called out to be a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; to show forth the praises of him who has called us out of darkness!

"Finally Free" is the group's top hit song which derives from the Exodus when the Israelites were delivered out of Egypt and taken through the wilderness to get to the Promised Land and how we too as disciples go through the same process of being delivered from our bondage to sin and into new life in Him!
